The God Delusion Delusion
Ahora les voy a compartir mi reseña del libro de Richard Dawkins: “The God Delusion”. A mí (creyente) no me gustó el libro, y no por la evidente crítica sarcástica a mi filosofía espiritual; la cual puedo aceptar que no sea del agrado de todo mundo (mundo agnóstico o ateo). Pero empecemos por el principio y terminemos en los quotes.
El libro trata de desmentir el hecho de la existencia de Dios, de dar pruebas científicas irrefutables (bajo un enfoque científico) de que simplemente Dios no existe o a como yo se lo entendí a Dawkins, no es necesario que exista. La religión será siempre tema de debate interminable así que me enfocaré sólo en dar mi percepción del libro y no de los argumentos que ahí se mencionan. El libro es de lo más repetitivo que hay, casi tanto como la Iliada, tiene sus buenos momentos como cuando habla de las razones para ser buenos y generosos independientemente de las religiones, son como 15 de las 420 páginas de la copia que yo leí, todo lo demás es rebuscar diferentes maneras de ataque a una idea.
Creo que lo que me molestó y fastidió tanto del libro es que el lenguaje que utiliza Dawkins es carente de tacto y parcialidad para las ideas que no son compatibles con su dogma de que la ciencia lo es todo. Es como si yo les dijera “mis inteligentísimos e iluminados lectores, conocedores de la verdad: deben alejarse de este libro horrendo lleno de falsedades e incoherencias aberrantes para el intelecto de cualquier persona noble y de valor”. Ese tipo de frases, a mi parecer le resta mucho peso a lo que realmente se dice, a los argumentos puros por muy válidos que éstos sean, aunque después sus mismos argumentos a favor pudieran usarse en su contra, pero “ahí no se vale porque es una tontería”.
Es un libro apto para todo ateo/agnóstico que quiera burlarse de las personas que profesan alguna religión, no para educarlos o intentar reflexionar o debatir, repito, para burlarse de ellos. Y a la gente de fe, le puede servir para romper ciertos paradigmas y si son lo suficientemente cautos, no perder la fe sino reforzarla en algo más universal y volverla serena evitando el tan dañino fanatismo, que es básicamente el resumen de todo el libro: “no seas fanático”
